July 20, 1969 “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” - these are the famous words of Neil Armstrong. Apollo 11 was a NASA space mission that delivered the first people to the moon, and the first lunar walk was broadcast live on television around the world, attracting the attention of millions and millions of people.
Fifty years later, Pininfarina Segno celebrates the landing anniversary with this special issue: SPACE MOON LANDING 50th ANNIVERSARY. The pen base made from Lightstone, a special composite material, faithfully reproduces the landing area of the LEM module thanks to the three-dimensional resources provided by NASA, while the body, coated with a special white ceramic film, reflects the surface of the Apollo 11 rocket carrier.
