The Codex project is inspired by “Cryptex”, invented by Dan Brown in his bestselling book “The Da Vinci Code” and attributed by author Leonardo da Vinci. The name Cryptex, born from the union of "cryptology" and "code", is an imaginary device that inside the book hides information available by guessing the correct sequence of letters among those present on rotating disks, as well as for the Code.
Codex is a chest that can hold an object, preserving it as a precious treasure, far from the eyes; an iconic product that complements the design of the table, giving it an elegant and mysterious character.
